Holloman Air Force Base Partners with TowFLEXX Miltech and Evitado to Revolutionize Aircraft Towing Operations
Members of Holloman, TowFLEXX Miltech and Evitado conduct an MQ-9 Reaper towing demonstration at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, Feb. 27, 2025. Through a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research contract, the 49th Maintenance Group is working with Evitado Technologies and TowFLEXX Miltech to revolutionize aircraft towing with electric, remote-controlled tugs, while using advanced LiDAR technology to increase safety and efficiency, reduce manpower needs, and support sustainability goals for the Air Force.
