Spray mission's future soars in test flight

Tech. Sgt. Thomas Wiesen and Senior Airman Dylan Miller, both aerial spray system maintainers assigned to the 910th Maintenance Squadron, place droplet detection cards on the ground in preparation for a water aerial spray test past pass performed by a C-130J-30 Super Hercules aircraft from Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, March 25, 2024, at Youngstown Air Reserve Station. The flight test was performed to ensure the operability of the spray system aboard the airframe as the 910th prepares to upgrade its aging C-130H Hercules fleet to new J-30 models. The project was carried out in partnership between 910th Airlift Wing maintenance personnel and aerial spray specialists, members of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex C-130 System Program Office, Georgia, and test flight aircrew from the Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas.
