Team USA Swimmers visit Fairchild

A U.S. Air Force student participating in the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape water survival course holds onto harness during a simulated air lift rescue at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, Sept. 25, 2023. During the course, Airmen assigned to a variety of career fields learned techniques needed to survive an emergency water landing and call for rescue. Natalie Hinds and Zach Harting, competitive swimmers for Team USA, visited Fairchild AFB to participate in water survival training and a parachute immersion. Their visit allowed them to see the depth of the SERE mission firsthand and learn what it means to ‘Return with Honor.’ (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Clare Werner)
