In the air, on the ground: training in the chamber

U.S. Air Force altitude chamber technicians monitor the pilots and technicians inside during operations at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, Aug. 14, 2023. Throughout the entire mission, chamber technicians will keep a close eye on the status of the members inside, watching for any symptoms of altitude sickness; if symptoms occur operators will return the group to a previous altitude and check up on the affected member.
