Altus AFB, Lawton Fire Department train side-by-side

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --  

The Altus Air Force Base Fire Department and Lawton Fire Department conducted a live fire training exercise at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, April 7-8, 2026. This joint training strengthened their long-standing partnership and ensured both Altus AFB and Lawton Fire Department personnel met certification requirements for aircraft rescue and firefighting operations.
