A 'GROWING PROBLEM'

Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic drawing of the “Vitruvian Man,” along with the accompanying text, is sometimes called “Proportions of Man.” Created around the year 1492 as a scientific study of the proportions of the male human body, his artwork probably would look different if redone today, as the “proportions of man” (and woman) have changed over the years. Via e-mail -- I dig your illustration that goes with the "A 'Growing' Problem" article (September/October 2007 Torch, page 8). The (different take on the) Leonardo da Vinci drawing ("Vitruvian Man") was clever ... very clever! I love it!

"A 'Growing' Problem" was an interesting article on obesity in the military. We've made strides in the Air Force with a new emphasis on fitness, but it might be time to take the next step.
