Do you have any additional information concerning the cause of the T-6 Texan II engine failure? Thanks for a very well-written article. The mishap is still under investigation, and we are awaiting final confirmation of cause. Any anomaly or abnormal performance of an aircraft engine is cause for concern. However, 19th Air Force and Air Education and Training Command leadership is satisfied all appropriate safety measures have been taken fleetwide while the investigation continues.
