2009 TORCH CALENDAR

Our USO in Philadelphia Airport is very busy, and we often get planes full of troops returning from Iraq or for other layovers. We handle about 5,000 military members a month and try to make them comfortable and feel at home.

Having Torch here helps.

Everyone really liked the 2009 Torch Calendar. They look great ... good photos!

Also, I enjoyed the article "A Perilous Path" in the July/August 2008 issue of Torch. Maj. Kent Currie had a bad day while flying his T-6 Texan II, but he recovered very well.

I read all your stories a few times and try to put myself in that position.

I came across your 2009 calendar and was amazed by the pictures. I ordered some for my unit (of roughly 350 personnel) on Security Hill.
