Via e-mail -- Our USO in Philadelphia Airport is very busy, and we often get planes full of troops returning from Iraq or for other layovers. We handle about 5,000 military members a month and try to make them comfortable and feel at home.
Having Torch here helps.
Everyone really liked the 2009 Torch Calendar. They look great ... good photos!
Also, I enjoyed the article "A Perilous Path" in the July/August 2008 issue of Torch. Maj. Kent Currie had a bad day while flying his T-6 Texan II, but he recovered very well.
I read all your stories a few times and try to put myself in that position.

I came across your 2009 calendar and was amazed by the pictures. I ordered some for my unit (of roughly 350 personnel) on Security Hill.
