AN UNBEARABLE TALE Published July 25, 2010 By Capt. Felicia Ryan Army Reserve Via e-mail -- Your story "Freak Accident Kills Captain" (May/June 2010 issue, page 6) is simply heartbreaking. First she (Capt. Jenna Wilcox) survives a deployment to Afghanistan. Then, she is taken out by an exploding tire on a vacation shortly after returning from duty in that war-torn country. This must be unbearable for her family. "Jenna's Blog" (on the same page) is both sad and eerie, especially her final line that said: "This will be my last entry. Both Scott and I are home, safe and sound."
