“Air Education and Training Command has the potential to be, and should be, ground-zero for accelerating change across the United States Air Force,” according to Lt. Gen. Brian Robinson, AETC commander. “That means modernizing, transforming and codifying the equipment, systems, architectures, training and strategies foundational to training and developing every Airman.”
AETC should also be ground-zero for introducing and developing a safety and risk management mindset within our newest human weapons systems, says Col. William Phillips, AETC’s director of safety.
AETC Safety’s mission is to strive to “Protect Airmen as vital national assets through proactive mishap prevention, and fostering a risk management mindset.”
