FLYING ANTIQUES Published Dec. 20, 2008 By Carl Bennett Via e-mail -- I hope the government starts getting you guys newer planes (reference, "Old Airplanes and Staying Safe in the Real World," September/October 2008 issue, page 8). I hate to see our military members risking their lives because we are making them fly in "antiques." Not to mention, how are we supposed to stay the dominant airpower if we aren't modernizing our aircraft fleet? A big thank you to our military members for all the sacrifices they make for our country.
