CRIME AND PUNISHMENT

Via e-mail -- Wow! Just read the article "I Killed My Best Friend's Sister" (Spring 2013, page 8) and am shocked. I can't believe the Airman killed one of his passengers while texting and driving and did not go to jail. He is lucky the victim's twin sister helped get him off the hook. Good on him for sharing his story to try to bring awareness to this, but I'm still surprised he escaped jail time.
